About The Clinician

Camille Alberson is a dedicated Master’s degree student in the Graduate School of Social Work at Howard University, specializing in direct practice within clinical mental health settings. She is currently in the process of becoming a graduated clinician and is completing her internship at our esteemed Washington Area Clinical Center.

Having received comprehensive training as an individual and family mediator in the District of Columbia, Camille possesses the skills necessary to facilitate effective communication and resolution within interpersonal dynamics. Furthermore, she is a Certified Trauma Professional with an extensive background in residential treatment, specifically working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who have experienced severe trauma and mental health crises.

Camille’s clinical focus revolves around working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples. She is well-versed in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, chronic stress, self-care, mindfulness, emotional awareness, and the dual diagnosis of mental health conditions.

Camille’s passion lies in guiding her clients through the shared human experience, fostering improved well-being, and promoting personal growth. She firmly believes in the power of collaboration and commitment, working alongside her clients to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. Through a compassionate and empathetic approach, Camille aims to empower individuals to overcome their challenges, develop resilience, and enhance their overall quality of life.
