Sarah is a dedicated and experienced Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) who has a strong passion for assisting her clients in achieving their mental health goals. Her specialization lies in providing support to women who have experienced various forms of trauma, such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and miscarriages. Sarah is also well-equipped to work with individuals facing career difficulties, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and substance abuse.

Sarah’s expertise in trauma counseling and advocacy stems from her previous role as a Victim Advocate at The Sexual Assault Center at Prince George’s Hospital. In this position, she offered crisis intervention, advocacy, and counseling services to individuals impacted by sexual and domestic violence. She has a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by survivors and is skilled at providing the necessary support to help them in their recovery journey.

Additionally, Sarah has valuable experience as a Psychiatric Technician in the Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services. In this role, she conducted ongoing assessments, offered case management services, and provided counseling to individuals dealing with mental health and emotional conditions. Her diverse background equips her with a comprehensive understanding of various mental health issues and the ability to provide holistic care to her clients.

Furthermore, Sarah possesses a background in Career Counseling, having worked as a Career Service Specialist.
