Jennifer Seager, M.S., LGSW, LMSW

“I believe that change is hard enough-but sustaining it can be even harder! Sustaining change requires us to see that the pros of not going back to the old way outweighs the cons. Sometimes we may even want someone else to change first, but why do we need to wait for anyone else to change in order for us to feel happier? We don’t. I believe that therapy can and should take many forms, because if it doesn’t fit the individual person, it won’t be successful. What is the definition of “successful?” Well, that definition will change from person to person. My job is to help the people I serve achieve the mental health goals they set for themselves, and if they don’t know what goals to set, help them figure it out. “
