He has also worked with adolescents in a clinical setting with issues such as anxiety and depression, life transitions, grief, self-love. He has worked with families to help with adjustment periods, communication, and understanding.
Qarahn has worked with clients who were perpetrators of domestic violence; had PTSD from traumatic events; and were survivors of domestic violence. He approaches each client where they are, and ensures they are given the tools they need to live the life they truly wish to live.
Trauma is a heavy weight carried throughout the body, and Qarahn uses this as a guide to help form the kind of treatment needed for teach individual client. He believes every person is different and has unique needs. Qarahn directly addresses the trauma his clients have endured while remaining sensitive to their limits and needs.
Qarahn is focused on connection and growth. He aims to help his clients find the connections in their lives that will help them continue to grow and flourish long after they have left his office. He is passionate about helping people to rediscover themselves and find what they are looking for. Qarahn approaches the process of change from a community and collective approach. He believes that change is rooted in compassion, understanding, and support from the people around us.
Qarahn’s ideal clients are queer folks, people of color, and young adults. While he primarily works with clients ages 15 and up, he is happy to see clients of all ages.
