About The Clinician
Nicole received her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Health Sciences at Grand Canyon University and is pursuing a Master of Social Work from Grand Canyon University. Nicole’s work experience in academic and clinical settings has given her a better understanding of the unique strengths, challenges, and needs of various demographics and communities, as well as the importance of individualized, respectful, and strengths-based care.
In addition to clinical and educational roles, Nicole has worked as a mentor, counselor, and program director in inclusive community programs, supporting social-emotional growth, life skills, leadership, and positive peer relationships.
Nicole’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices while remaining person-centered. She believes every individual deserves to be seen as a whole person and therapy should be guided by the client’s goals, values, abilities, and preferences. Nicole prioritizes building strong, trusting relationships grounded in mutual respect, acceptance, and collaboration, recognizing that meaningful progress happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Nicole has strong knowledge in supporting emotional regulation, communication, social development, self-advocacy, and life transitions. Nicole believes inclusion is not an add-on—it is a foundation. She is committed to creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where individuals and families feel valued, supported, and respected. Nicole’s goal is to help clients build confidence, skills, and resilience while honoring their identity, autonomy, and potential.
